Through chaos, we rise. During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, WE ARE KIX collaborated with Brand New Waves Running Club to create a crowd-sourced exercise campaign that would get people motivated to exercise.

ASTRO AWANI | NEWS FEATURE

This crowd-sourced exercise campaign was eventually featured on live television on the ASTRO AWANI channel. Founder of the Brand New Waves Running Club, Adam Nizam, was interviewed on the impact of the Vitual Waves initiative throughout the nation.


HOW DID WE START THE MOVEMENT?

Participants from all over Malaysia were asked to submit their lockdown workout videos and as the weeks went by, enthusiastic Malaysians became increasingly creative with their submissions. It was the perfect formula to create a sense of community and togetherness to overcome a period of isolation.

From teleporting push-ups to carrying their children and even their cat, there was a lot of warmth and loving energy beaming through their videos.
